The short version
- ZAYR sets no cookies of its own, and uses no analytics or advertising cookies.
- Our hosting and spam-protection provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site and its forms.
- We don’t use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking pixels.
- We don’t store anything on your device to track where you came from.
Strictly necessary cookies (Cloudflare)
These keep the site secure. UK law (PECR) allows them without consent. They are set by Cloudflare only in some circumstances, for example when bot protection or a spam check is active.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare | Tells people apart from bots when bot protection is active | 30 minutes |
cf_clearance |
Cloudflare (Turnstile) | Records that you passed a spam check, if a check was shown | Up to 30 minutes |
The spam check on our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs in your browser when you open a page with a form. It checks signals from your browser to tell people from automated spam; it is not used for advertising.
How enquiries record where you came from
When you send an enquiry, the form includes the page you were on before it, the website that sent you (its address only) and any campaign tag in the link, such as utm_source. We read these at the moment you submit. Nothing is stored on your device, and we never use them for advertising.
Analytics
We don’t currently run any analytics. If we switch on Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without cookies and without identifying you, we’ll list it here first. If we ever wanted to use analytics that need cookies, we’d ask for your consent first, with Accept and Decline given equal weight.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking Cloudflare’s strictly necessary cookies may stop the forms from working; if that happens, email us at contact@zayr.org.
Embedded content
If we embed content from other sites in future (for example video players), we’ll load it only after you choose to play it, and list it here.
